Bonding

Dental bonding is a great way to quickly and affordably repair small imperfections on teeth.  As the term implies, dental bonding is the process of bonding tooth-colored resin to the teeth to mask imperfections. In addition to providing cosmetic enhancement, bonding can be used to fill cavities.  

 

Bonding can be used for a variety of reasons. A few of the most common reasons include: repair chips or cracks in teeth, cover up discoloration, fill in a small gap between two teeth, change the shape of a tooth, repair decayed teeth by filling a cavity with tooth-colored resin, and protect the root of a tooth after it's been exposed by receding gums. 

 

If you have very small imperfections on your teeth, bonding could be the answer. Many people opt for this procedure because it is quick, easy and affordable. After looking at the tooth, however our team of professionals may recommend a veneer or a crown instead. It's important to follow a dentist's advice in these matters to get the most life out of the treatment for your tooth.

 

Enamel Reshaping

Enamel reshaping is a process of shaping or contouring natural teeth to improve their overall appearance. When teeth are slightly crowded or uneven, or when certain teeth appear too long, enamel shaping may be used to correct the flaw.  Enamel shaping involves modifying teeth by removing or recontouring enamel to create a dazzling smile that has balance and harmony.  Keep in mind that Enamel Reshaping and Bonding are more conservative procedures and cannot solve all problems. Full Braces

Orthodontics is a specialty discipline of dentistry that focuses on alignment of the teeth and jaws to improve a person’s smile and oral health. Orthodontists will diagnose, treat and prevent irregularities of the teeth with the use of braces or with the use of Invisalign® by the orthodontist. These devices can be used to straighten teeth, correct an irregular bite, close unsightly gaps and bring teeth and lips into proper alignment.  If our team of cosmetic specialists find that a treatment plan needs the opinion of the orthodontist we will refer our patients to the orthodontist for an evaluation, this will give our patients and the doctors a better vision of the necessary steps to achieve a stunning and memorable smile!
